All of my favorite bands were from or peeked in the '80s. Is that bad?
The Smiths/Morrissey Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band Bad Religion Social Distortion Descendents/ALL Billy Bragg

I gave up on rock n roll in the 80's. I couldn't get into punk, heavy metal and new wave. It is a generational thing. I swtiched to jazz and blues.
Flash forward, I still don't like 80's music but it is widely played in sporting events. I think the music of the 80s has more get up and go than the grunge period in the 90's of more current music.
