No, no...not at all.

Yep. Opening bid was $3k and ended at $20,600 with bidders from Oregon, Florida, and Portugal going back and forth.

I'm not even sure what a decent`73 S goes for (this week). The last one I saw a while back went for over $200k.

I had a buddy sell his 73 targa in really nice shape to a flipper in 2007 for something like that. I should have bought it, but honestly, I thought it wasn't up to my performance standard. My SC smoked it ...

I think the VIN is about the only thing you could use from that. I have it. After you grind off all the rust and replace the floor, sell it as an ultra lightweight.

The market is crazy. I saw a 911sc on our local Craigslist today and it belonged to a friend. She posted one pic and asked $12k. The pic show the car was in bad condition with need of a repaint and rust. She ended up getting 7 calls very fast and even 1 call from the mainland offering $15k!
