craigslist score of the day....
 

I have been having good luck with craigslist lately......
a few weeks back I traded some labor for some jl audio woofers and a couple amps for my 924s, good stuff.....for an hour of my time puting on a master cylinder in a s-10.......

I have been keeping my eye out for an electra townie or cruiser the wife, her schwinn isn't that comfortable to ride....the townies and cruisers are pretty expensive new, and all the used ones go for 250-300 used....

I told her to keep her eye out and send me links to any that she sees....
she sent me a link yesterday to an electra hawaii cruiser, new these are $500.....was listed for $80.
after some emails and some bartering I ended up trading the previously mentioned amps for it :-)

spent a couple hours scrubbing it down and tightening up....basic maintenance stuff and I gotta say.....I'm pretty happy with it......she is ecstatic as she's wanted one for quite a while.....
this this is so comfortable to ride I can't even explain lol

Nice score and good trading. I was just on CL a few minutes ago searching for some stuff I could use for work....I check at least a couple times a week.

this thing was pretty well used.....the white walls were pretty nasty, rust on all the chrome, every bolt was loose too....
used s.o.s. brillo type pads on the chrome rust and the whitewalls.......I'm pretty impressed with my elbow grease lol

I'm keeping my eye out for an old schwinn cruiser frame and springer fork to build for myself using the components off her old bike which is all shimano stuff.....
