Anyone else here use this stuff?
I'm not affiliated with the company or this product in any way except that I'm a very satisfied customer. I've been using Krud Kutter for several years and I've used it very successfully on the following items...
- cleaning guns - removing old latex paint from carpet - cleaning walls and floors - removing grease, oil, brake and tranny fluid from concrete driveways - degreasing and cleaning engines - cleaning pool components and flters - degreasing bike chains - cleaning appliances and granite countertops - cleaning and degreasing range hoods - cleaning and degreasing outdoor grills - cleaning tools, parts, fasteners, etc... - cleans desks and office furnitore - cleans patio furniture - remove stains from clothing - clean shower stalls, toilets and sinks It does a great job and it's non toxic and doesn't bother plants, animals or the waterways... I buy it at my my local Lowe's, but it's sold in most grocery and hardware stores... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1340550765.jpg |

Good question... I think they're referring to drinking it, spraying it directly in your eyes, etc... Any "soap type" product could be hazardous if misused, but I've never had any problems with animals, plants, personal injury, etc... The bottle says "non-toxic", so I don't know why the MSDS is written as it is.

Is Krud Kutter safer/better than Simple Green?
Column on Simple Green cleaner brings response from company VP - Connecticut Post |
Tes, i switched from Simple Green and have been very impressed with Krud Kutter's cleaning and degreasing.
|
I use Krud kutter all the time. It's a great product.
I use it to clean everything and even run the gallon jugs through my pressure washer. It's great for removing overspray from safety glasses, goof off melts them. I just pressure cleaned my house today and used KK. I do prefer Goof Off for removing dried paint, it is a stronger product. KK is a great general purpose cleaner/de greaser. |
we used it on our old linoleum floors and have to say it's the only stuff we could get to really clean them from dirty older tenants.....simple green wouldn't touch a few of the stains but the krud cutter worked great.....
|
Thanks, the Simple Green article was informative.
|
is KK any better than the limonene products?
aka, "orange oil" |
I've used the orange oil products and KK is much more versatile. KK works just as good, if not better than the citrus-based products and it can do a lot more.
|
works awesome to remove tire snot from the front of the track car!
|
It's also good at removing brake dust and crud from alloy wheels without damaging the finish...
|
For my guns I use lots and lots of WD40.
|
thx Art - I'll put it on my shopping list!
|
Yep,
My company uses it all the time as our general purpose cleaner. |
Paul,
I clean guns with Krud Kutter, then lube them lightly with Militec-1 CLP. No WD40 for me unless I'm soaking parts after Parkerizing them. |
