frozen mango?

Any idea where to get wholesale frozen mango chunks in LA? I tried Smart and Final or Wallmart but they only have little bags. Google has nothing. Where do these people buy them?

Thanks, but that is the exactly opposite to what I was asking. Next time make it green.

Trader Joe's

. . .but theirs aren't green mangos.

I am looking for something like 100 lbs of frozen stuff for a fund raiser at my kid's school.

Sam's Club has them in 64 oz bags. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod1330118&navAction=
A couple cases should work.

Local Cuban restaurant...get them to order it from their food supplier.

Your best bet would be Hellman Frozen Foods in the Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Market 1601 olympic blvd on Central ave and Olympic blvd. They sell either in 20 or 25 lbs bulk. The market opens at 2:00 am and closes at about 10 am Monday thru Saturday. # 213-243-9105

Oh, come on.... nothing says "get out your wallets" like 12 tons of frozen chinese mango.

Yeah man, you just added another 0 on there for me. I wouldn't want to poison those poor bastards at my kid's school.

As far as poisoning bastards, unless you've been poisoned at all the local juice bars either at the gyms or the malls, there's is very little to worry about. These guys supply all the food purveyors in the in the southern California area. While there you may want to walk the market and see what fresh produce is suppose to taste, look, and what it really cost vs what you pay for it at the super market. If you like you may pm me for any questions or concerns.

Regards

Gil

It really needed to be in green font. I have eaten many Chinese imported foods. I am not worry about it. Thanks, reporting back later this week.

Talk to the cafeteria manager at your kid's school. They work with a grocery wholesaler that can get any product/quantity you need and they will deliver.
