Bang a Boomarang-abba.

Cats in the cradle is probably my favorite tune since I was a nose picker.
I always stop whatever I'm doing to listen to it and remember it's message.

-btw, I had a T-shirt that said afternoon delight. Makes me a super Cheezeball. :D

Maximum Cheesy. And it got got worse with repeated hearing.

It seemed to be played non-stop one summer while I was serving aboard ship in the US Navy. Talk about a captive audience.

To truly experience the maximum cheesiness out of that tune, you must go back to my original post and click on the YouTube clip and check out the high quality 70's video....just love the fireworks!

"Leader of the Pack" done by some whinny female singer around the late '50s to early '60s comes to mind.

CHERRY HILL PARK

Written by B. Gilmore/R. Nix

Mary Hill used to hang out in Cherry Hill Park
The game she played lasted all day to way after dark
Now all the girls they criticized her but all the guys just idolized her
Cause Mary Hill was such a thrill after dark, in Cherry Hill Park
Mary Hill loved to ride on the merry-go-round
All the guys got eager eyes watchin Mary go round
Now in the daytime Mary Hill was a teaser
Come the night she was such a pleaser
Mary Hill was such a thrill after dark, in Cherry Hill Park
Whoa Mary Hill sure was fun down at Cherry Hill Park
Playin games with everyone till way after dark
In Cherry Hill Park, in Cherry Hill Park
And then one day, Mary Hill, she married away
A man with some money said Come on honey and she said Ok
She went away to play a one man game
And since that day it aint been the same
Cause Mary Hill was such a thrill after dark, in Cherry Hill Park
Whoa Mary Hill sure was fun down at Cherry Hill Park
Playin games with everyone till way after dark
In Cherry Hill Park, in Cherry Hill Park
In Cherry Hill Park, in Cherry Hill Park
In Cherry Hill Park, in Cherry Hill Park

The "Shangri-Las". Three NY/NJ girls and lead singer with iron straightened hair.

Didn't you just love the, "Look out! Look out! Look out!" (screeching brakes... crash.)

Just thought of another one. I actually was part of a skit at a school talent show to this one.
