Anyone know what kind of a car this is?

It looks to be an Aston but unsure, anyone know? The pics are somewhat distorted.

Looks like a Honda Sports Coupe from the late 60s - early 70s.

S600 or S800

Honda S800...

edit: the dead giveaways are the rear angle of the door which is slanted in (MGB is almost a vertical cut) plus the rear window and post, plus the differences in rear wheel well shape (round for MGB, slightly elongated oval for the Honda)

The car in the OP looks much larger than a MGB-GT. and has some Jag lines to it. What's the story of the "girl cut in two?"

Nope. Door line and C-pillar are quite different.
As others have mentioned, S800. 67/68ish

According to IMCD it's a 1968 Honda S800

Honda was emulating, or trying to, the sports car. Took 'em a few more years.
