movie......dead by friday....
 

a very good longtime friend had been working on this movie for some time (he's the producer).....
they had their first private showing at a local theater for those involved in the making of it, along with some major studios to sell it to for national release.....
dave started of as a stunt man many years ago, he did driving work in bad boys 2, fast and the furious, along with alot more.....and hopefully this will be his big break......

Pretty thin plot.

I don't know that I could sit through two hours of pure goomba.

I don't think that they made this with the idea that it will ever be shown on a big screen. I hope not, anyways. That's OK, many straight-to-DVD films make a little $$, but they have to have names in them to sell the foreign rights, which is where most of your $$ is recovered.

I don't see any names, even minor ones, just a couple of recognizable bit players from way back when. That trailer seems to contain the whole film, never a good thing. I wish your friend luck but he has a tough road ahead with this.

I wasnt able to make the showing, but obviously with a bigger budget and backing from a major studio it can be much much more....which is the point....

If the movie is already made, how will money and backing by a major studio make it any better??? Unless they plan on re-shooting the movie over with known actors.

I'll go see it. At least it's not J Lo/Tom Cruise or some other dbag that get paid 100Mil for some shlt performance. It might be good.

from some other friends who saw it, they said it was actually pretty entertaining......which it the main objective.....
it was very well accepted buy the suits also......
there's money to be made off of anything and everything....the point i.s it's entertainment...

hell even howard the duck made money.....
