I'm using Canda Post mostly - Oddly, once it's going to the US the price is roughly the same. Something West coast might cost $24 and East might be $26. The thing that drives me nuts is that shipping within Canada is often more expensive than shipping to the US :(

Bingo. If (as promised) the item was shipped right away it would be more reasonable to ask for some extra shipping expenses.

But - it sounds like this person is a seller - meaning he has sold before and will sell in the future - someone like him might make up the difference of what he lost in future transactions and consider this a lesson learned and NOT try to collect additional funds. That would be how someone with integrity would look at it.

Considering the shabby aspects of the transaction - I wouldn't feel obligated to send him a cent over what was agreed upon....as he has not earned the right to even ask! :rolleyes:
