Canadian Donor Cycle doing 186mph

Puts it on UTube....he's on the run. Registered the bike to his Mommy. What a tool.

Mommy had to pay $1450 fine and the son is AWOL from his Arrest Warrant.

Charge laid in 299 km/h motorcycle racing spree on Island Highway)

Boy has skillz!

BlueSkyJaunte 07-16-2012 03:51 PM

That was a ballsy run...I'd've crapped my leathers.

Joe Bob 07-16-2012 03:56 PM

Wiki says 182mph is the top speed. Of course the cops and media say he exceeded that....

mikeesik 07-16-2012 06:32 PM

C'mon he was just trying to get away from the high U.V index that day.
I'm sure he was an Albino.

DanielDudley 07-17-2012 01:25 AM

I'm surprised he isn't already dead.

petrolhead611 07-17-2012 01:27 AM

Do they have a home for the Criminally Insane in Canada?

slow&rusty 07-17-2012 03:19 AM

Maybe he had a serious case of the runs after a greasy lunch.

VINMAN 07-17-2012 03:59 AM

Effin A-hole. Hope he loses his DL permanently.

Joe Bob 07-17-2012 06:05 AM

That's just it...he doesn't HAVE a license....

VINMAN 07-17-2012 06:44 AM

No DL then serious jail time.

Sorry, maybe its just me , but I don't find the it the slightest bit cool, or "skillful". That lowlife scumbag endangered everyone else on that highway. You have a death wish? Then just go slam into a bridge abutment on a deserted road.

Jeff Higgins 07-17-2012 06:56 AM

Dang, it looks like they are taking the bike. That's too bad; I was looking forward to more video. Maybe his adoring fans will set up a fund to buy him another one.

182 mph = 292kph .. ad some margin of error to the speedometer
or some tuning to the bike and you got 299 kph.

I really don't think 299 vs 292 kph is a big exaggeration

Let's call it "stupid fast for public traffic".

svandamme 07-17-2012 07:10 AM

Btw, i still wonder how they can make it stick in court.
All he has to say is "wasn't me, somebody else must have taken my bike for a joyride and didn't tell me"

Especially if they want to sue him with a criminal offence, innocent till proven guilty applies, right?
Burden of proof is not on the accused... And how in hell can they prove who was riding the bike in that video?

aigel 07-17-2012 07:10 AM

Can they get him on just the video in Canada? What is the law in the US? Will a stupid video get you cited if they can trace it back to you?

I'm not sure about the rights of the accused and burden of proof and all of that in Canada, but here in the U.S., they really can't touch these guys. Not without having actually stopped him on that ride, confiscating the camera, and all of that. There is simply no way that anyone can say who it was from that video. They really can't even say for sure that it was the same bike they confiscated. If Scott is smart enough to keep his mouth shut (most of these guys are not - they'll nail him from a tweet bragging about it) he's golden.

FrankyV 07-17-2012 07:36 AM

While most speed limits are set ridiculously low in the interest of revenue generation not safety, I can't defend this kind of behavior. Last week a crotch rocket rider almost committed suicide using my front bumper while the whole family was in the car. It would have been no fault of mine, but surely would have had a horrible effect on us for a long time if he had succeeded.

A linked news article states the Police have three witnesses whose testimony will hold up in court.

Payback is a b!tch.

Can't be absolutely sure but I think that was shot on the Malahat Highway on Vancouver Island, a highway that can be crazy busy at times. The guy would have been vapourized if he had collided with anything. It was way beyond 'stoopid'

Cheers
