Messages from people with zero posts???

I have recieved a few PMs from people with zero posts. I thought PMs counted as a post. The last one I got was today from someone who has been a member here since 2010 but has no posts. Whats up with with that?

I was inundated with them when I placed my car for sale here.

Thats where they are coming from. I have two cars up for sale right now.

Someone sent me a post to buy that conquror guitar I posted a while back......1 post.......I didn't respond...

No posts, no problem. You guys discount the credibility of someone with 20 posts. Hey, if someone wants to buy a car and you don't list an email, what do you expect?

Dan, on the 914, you have no email or phone no. I saw. Your profile lists no email. I guess you expect people to walk a 100 miles in the desert to see the car.

I do not list my email or phone because I am in the Porsche business so to speak. I don't want to be inundated with emails about Porsche related questions. I am not trying to be difficult! I simply was posting a question as to why someone could post and not have a "post count".
PMs are always welcomed and I will respond.

Will a fuel tank from a 1968 911 fit a 1971 914? How about a 917? I have this noise in the back end of my car . . . it sounds really loud. Like a machine or something is living back there under that piece of painted metal with the grill on it. Is that normal? Should I call you and talk about this instead of posting it here?

FWIW, I listed some stuff in the classifieds & got a response from someone and it was his first post. Gave me the heebie jeebies, but the PayPal funds went through just fine.

I think some folks find it a tad daunting here & prefer to read but not participate until they want to buy something.

YMMV.
