I've got the best beer bottler.

She is twelve and ten times smarter than I am, bottling our fourth beer batch an American IPA this time. We are doing a Belgian Trippel next. Plus two batches of Mead aging right now, ready around Christmas time.

Bottles get soooooo old and tiring to clean and cap...........been there.

As I was doing all-grain and 15-20 gallon batches, I stepped up to using 2 liter pop bottles (heck they are food grade plastic) and brewing everyweekend in that quantity, I was just giving away the bottles of beer, and had Nine 5 gallon corny kegs.......yeah I'd have 3 kegs on tap at anyone time, and 6 others aging.

Bottling gets real old real fast. Step up to the 2 liter bottles, that's about 4 pints per bottle, so perfect to take a bottle over to a friends house to share a couple pints.

That's cool. Here in Calif. you'd get tracked down, fined, taxed, fined again, thrown in jail.....bla, bla.

Why? The ATF is a federal joint. There is no CATF that I've heard of.

Listen to this man!

I'm envious! I'm still bottling myself, or with a friend, using one of those little red hand-held doodads. PITA!

Would be curious to find out what you're putting in your IPA, BTW -- I really like Dogfish Head's Hellhound IPA, but can't find a good clone recipe for it. :-/

Keg it, man!!

Maybe I'll try using an IBC tote...

I can be your "best beer un-bottler" - faster than you'd be able to pour it out! :D

Looks like you had a great time. Was she still smiling on bottle 38? I only am a brewer in my dreams, but I'd go with kegs too - I don't like the idea of sugar in the bottles. One day ...

Just a guess but I'm thinking his post should have been in green, (blue??)

Got a kit for Christmas, now I need to make it.

ahh, just brewed up a batch of Octoberfest yesterday. It is happily bubbling away next to me right now. My son and I will bottle it next weekend and put it away until we get back from Europe. We might have to throw on another batch of Red Ale before we go.
