Just wondering how your experiences with hotels, transport, crowds in the London Uk area are because of the Olympics. My mother just passed away and I have to go thru London. What are your experiences?

Just returned from London two weeks ago. Try the K+K George Hotel, just block from the Earl's Court tube station. Comfortable and convenient.

The tube is great. Try to lay your hands on an Oyster Card for use on the tube. It's prepaid plastic that really simplifies getting around.
