Photoshop request

A Pelican member wants to explore what a flag on the side of his ride would look like....I don't have access to my program due to a hard drive issue on my other machine.

Can someone do a quick and dirty paste for him?

Joe Bob, you're in the trade, you have to be a little more specific! :)

Joe Bob,
Are we looking at another new product here?

Drdogface 07-25-2012 08:24 AM

I kinda like the second one ;)

Nice work !

RonDent 07-25-2012 08:43 AM

I'm voting for number 1. It looks like the flag is reflecting off the side of the car.

#1 for me as well.

The flag deserves to be framed by the entire side.

Mr9146 07-25-2012 05:55 PM

How about an Australian flag?

Jeez, where have you been?

JoeB., I don't know why anyone would do that to a nice looking Carrera. Tell me this is a temporary deal for a parade or something.

Joe Bob 07-25-2012 06:06 PM

If the guy wants to be patriotic, who are we to say nay?

More pc than the General Lee and the Stars and Bars......

Always lurking, Milt...

Hope you're well, bud.

Could be more PC but that don't make it pretty.

Just because you can... Doesn't mean you should...

craigster59 07-25-2012 06:26 PM

Looks like it belongs on the side of a lifted F-250.

Hah! JB says I cost him the sale. I guess I'm not the only one sitting in that row.

Great saying Sidney! Should be 'used' more often! ;)

But I thought it would have looked OK - F.W.I.W. A lot better than all those "modified" Franken-Porsches we see show up on eBay or C.L. (present company excluded Mike) :)

porsche4life 07-25-2012 07:29 PM

Fwiw, I wasn't totally against it... It just didn't look stellar either. Might be cool on a track car... But idk...

We have been having that discussion a lot lately at work... Just because we would profit from it, doesn't always make it the best move...

But you know, we have taste and what not... ;)

You mean like owning a well set up 944 and hanging on the 911 BBS? ;)

I happen to agree, unless on a track car.

The other option would be air-brushing it, but I think the 80s have passed.

You posted in Off Topic there hotshot... Which is part of a Porsche Forum. A 944 happens to be a Porsche....

So kiss my arse.

Joe Bob 07-26-2012 09:48 AM

Mark a spot Sid, yer all ass. Why don't ya just stay out of my threads and make the community happy.

You seem to enjoy screwing with me. I don't play well with tools.

porsche4life 07-26-2012 10:12 AM

This is a PUBLIC forum, if you post on a public forum, expect to hear things you don't like. I was not the first to point anything out about this, and I never said yay or nay.

As far as screwing with you? Nah, you just don't take criticism well, from a young guy. Like it or not I'm entitled to an opinion as well, and when it's a topic related an industry that I've lived in my entire life? I'm sure as hell going to voice said opinion...

Joe Bob 07-26-2012 10:19 AM

Yeah, I've noticed your opinions.....almost 20K in 5 years? What does that average out to on a daily basis?

Do you post at work as well as at home and in the bathroom? It seems that flapping yer lips is a full time obsession.

I don't like you because you post drivel, not because you are young.....you can't fix stupid. Otherwise you'd sell that POS 944.

porsche4life 07-26-2012 10:34 AM

My post count is irrelevant. I travel a lot, post from my phone when I'm not driving.

Post drivel? You are one of the few who think that. And POS 944? You may not like the 944, but mine is in rather nice shape, as many of the members of this board will point out, all of which is my work. It's not whored up with graphics, it's a nice, clean, well running car.

But whatever, I'm done arguing with a nut, it's not worth my time.
