If you eliminate the 80's time frame, your left with very little material. Everyone that was a part of that time, including myself, fell victim to some kind of crazy look. I can guarantee the crowds going to see those bands were just as bad, maybe worse. :eek:

Rush gets a pass because they are genuine geeky guys who might authentically dress like that.

That photo is from 2112. Geddy explains it in the documentary that they happened to be staying in a Japanese neghborhood in San Fran. and decided to check out a nearby clothing store. And thus began the Rush era of wearing kimonos.
