Has nothing to do with the beard or any of your looks, for that matter. Stay clean and healthy.

As long as you think the art is in subduing a "chicky." you're dead in the water.

That's a great pic Jim and I've seen it before. I just wish JoAnna would push her glasses up her nose a bit. Let's see all of those gorgeous eyes.

I hope that you said that as a complement!

Joanna my wife of 15 years is a sweet lady and I prefer her Californian accent over Sarahs.

Coloring your hair or beard is like some old "geeze" driving a Porsche, still thinks he a chick magnet.............No! wait.. take that back...disregard....

SeanR 07-31-2012 11:05 AM

I think the OP should post a picture and let us see if it needs to be dyed or not.

The perfect answer. In my case, try a red, grey and black beard. I've got an Egyptian flag on my grill.

Mike, Dye Jobs is opening for Furious Lawsuit and Impotent Rage on the Warp Tour this summer.

Nostatic said so.

Hey, now, wait a minute; since I find myself single again I was thinking of using that as my tagline:

"Out subduing chickys"
or maybe
"out subduin' chickys'" (a little hipper)
"out doin' the chickys'" (positive thinking)

Greying beard? Hell, I'm pulling out gray nose and ear hairs. :(

To say nothing of what my chest is starting to look like...

Yep... I had facial hair at a very early age... full mustache in eight grade... full beard in high school... I was the go to guy for beer runs.

In my mid thirties I decided the beard made me look older, no longer an attractive option. So I shaved it off and never looked back.

On an interesting side note, my wife is out of town for three weeks and I have a green light to not shave, should be interesting what it will look like after 20 years of shaving.

GH85Carrera 07-31-2012 12:06 PM

I am not loosing any hair on my head, it is just turning around and growing out my ears and nose.

cairns 07-31-2012 12:16 PM

I understand hair coloring for men is now a $10B a year global industry and it's still increasing. There are a lot more of you out there coloring hairs than are admitting it here.

Frankly if they'd cure baldness and give me the pill for a huge penis I'd be more than happy.

You spelled it wrong. It's "chickies".

Or "chickeys".

But definitely not "chickysapostrophe".

Like I said, I let an old girlfriend have my hair colored, professionally $$$ and did my whole head,(like it would full anyone if I gradually colored it, as I have been grey for years too) and some like it, others liked my Grey better...

at my club, I showed up with my hair died, everyone got a laugh, I pointed out that I knew it wouldn't fool anyone, so why not get the full shock value, when one of the girls "warned" one of my long time buddies about my "new" color, Buzz responded
Quote:

So now he looks his actual age;)
and the other odd comment was at Hooters, a girl who use to serve me all the time game up, with a straight face & said she use to serve my father aND hoped he was doing well:eek: and she didn't know it was me...

The hair color isn't your problem, self confidence is, that is what you need to work on, not temporary fixes.. I really couldn't wait for the color to grow out.

Not quite true, years ago, when my hair was dark, I had a Six Pack instead of a Keg, and I stopped at a buddy's new Bar in a "So-So" area, my Porsche was only 3 years old, bright Red I was wearing a $1,500 suit & my old 2 tone Submariner (I had been in a business meeting down town, lots of big shots, ect, so you had to dress the part, and it was typical business attire for the area & type of business at the time) Well, I ordered a Capt. & Coke, double, as soon as the waitress brought it too me, a little "cutie walks up to me,grabs my drink & takes a big sip, then ask me if I was a "Car Salesman" cause I dressed nice, OK, I said no & walked away, plus, I wasn't looking to meet any Chickies, I was just stopping to check out John's new Bar.. Back then, I liked to play Darts, I really didn't see anything, but one lady came up, cause she liked Darts as well, I bought her a few drinks, them she said she had to leave, OK, Shot down, no big deal, finish my shots & drink, and I figured I would leave. When I walk out in to the parking lot, climb into the Porsche and start to head out when, I see the lady I had been playing Darts with come running towards me. Before, she was in a hurry to leave, now that she saw my CAR, she is now majorly interested in me and wanted me to go home with her, yes, it was because of my car..
So, Mike, it depends on what type of women you want to meet, do you want to meet quality Ladies, or do you just want to get laid??? If you want a real Women, be your self, if you just want to get laid, send girls JegerBombs until ones comes over to you (yes, that does work)...

Thanks for the entertainment-everyone.
I don't want to look distinguished just yet.
I am fortunate I still have a good head of hair and there are only about 2% greys.

I have a bit of a -fu-man-chew stache and a triangular gotee. It is short.
I like it but I have started to get a few hairs turning. From a distance it looks a bit uneven. I am head and face coiffed quite well. Like to keep it that way for awhile longer anyway.
Really enjoyed your remarks.

My gfs have said this straight out - me looking older makes them the young hottie. :) I wear a goatee during the cooler months and it's very salt-and-pepper, so it adds a few years and combined with the rest of my demeanor, "distinguished" and "professorial" come up a lot. I take flack every year in March or April when I shave it off, but I'm a runner and even a close-cropped beard seems to hold a ton of sweat.

I'm 61 and women my age and as young as in their 40's still find me attractive. Unless yer trying to pick up 20 year olds, and they think yer creepy because you dye yer hair and beard, most women really don't care.

If they do care enough for it to make a difference, you need to kick that superficial beeyatch to the curb. Shave it if you don't like a gray beard.

That Byron is about a suave looking MFer isn't he? No wonder he has the ladies falling all over his ass. As he says, it is the man, not the car, hair or lack thereof

I remember seeing this ad in car magazines in the late 60's - early 70's...

Confused, which is the dog?

Groesbeck Hurricane 08-01-2012 03:59 AM

Mine makes me look closer to my age, well that and the extra pounds. Lost ten pounds in the past two weeks, 1/2" out of the four inches I need to lose in the waste, uhm, waist.

Go with it, it is a sign of age and wisdom. Or shear it off and look younger ;-)
