Coloring your beard-i.e getting older-what works?

Hello.
Getting older and it sux.
I use -Just For Men- on my beard. I gotto hide the grays. My beard looks like ****e without a constant color.
I am not satisfied with this product as it misses some and some fibers seem untouchable to the dye, or whatever they use?
Anyone there from the states have better luck with another product?

I just leave mine grey.. Just go with it Brother..

Good beard.
You must be married and your wife is in full acceptance.
I'm single and wish to catch something, someday.
I need all the help I can get.

If only it was just gray! Mine is several colors and just looks funny so stopped growing a beard a while back. Maybe its all gray now so should try again...

Women prefer natural looks. They can tell when you dye.

Man up.

Nope, single, the Girl I was dating wanted me to grow it, takes about a month to fill out like that. Other women liked it too, Lots of quality women like a grey beard, we are distinguished... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1343710101.jpg

I disagree. Sorry.
If it were true , they'd place that among themselves.

Nice.

Lets see the beard, there are a few women here, & a couple of guys who play for the other team, let them tell you what THEY like..
I let this same girl have my hair colored, some women liked it, others made it clear they liked my Grey better, me, I like my Grey, guess because I have had it so long.

I've heard the term- distinguished- about the subject so often.

I say it's because the female' companion' feels younger and looks younger as being opposed for it and it works for her.

Who cares! I love the grey in mine and I'm not even 40 yet.

nostatic 07-30-2012 09:17 PM

Dyed looks like arse imho. It screams, "I'm getting old and can't deal with it...so I try in vain to hide who I really am."

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I do.

I'd still like to know what works.
I still have to chase and subdue a chickey some day soon.

I get some sort of color rinse when I get a haircut. It reduces but does not eliminate the grey. Don't know what it is called, the hair shop does it. Why not consult your hair dresser?

Supposedly, the whole point of that Just for Men product is that it doesn't color every single hair in your beard. That makes for a more natural look.

I'm sure you can find a product that colors it all, but it would end up looking pretty unnatural... like this one, which almost looks glued on:

Here ya go!

https://www.ronco.com/products/glh/index.html

It may be for the top of your head, but it should work and fill in any thin spots on your beard as well!

Women like confidence, and chivalrous behavior.

Rick V 07-31-2012 01:44 AM

My beard is solid white and has been since my early 40's, yeah it makes me look my age, oh well I have earned every single one of those white hairs. It is who you are, don't fight it, embrace it, and if a woman is so hung up that she can't be seen with a guy with a grey beard, is that really someone you would want, for more then just an evening?
