Met the most wonderful person today...

....living just a couple blocks from my home....Here's her picture. 11 years old.
She is not "dog"

Spent about 1/2 hour with her. Skittish, wary, but I managed to get a couple good kisses from her.

Her caretaker has been keeping wolves for the last 38 years, and has invited me to come by and get to know her....

yeppers. She was found in Arlington, WA at about nine months old, according to her caretaker. She's had her for ten years now. This is her third, over a 38 years span.

There was one that I got to know very well when I was a kid - early teens- living at my parents house. It had been hit by a car, and lost a leg. Somehow, "Shadow" wound up with our neighbor.
A the time, my bedroom was a small camper trailer outside the house. Shadow adopted me and started sleeping in the trailer with me.

Looks to be a wolf hybrid. Know a few folk who have them.

My sister in law once had a wolf hybrid. It was an amazing animal. I was quite sad when she had it put down.

If wolf years are similar to dog years, that puts her around 77 wolfyears old.
They can live around 20 peopleyears though, she said.

No hybrid from what was known about the parents...if so, it was a few generations back, and she'd be about 90% full. Her legs are a just bit shorter than what would be typical.

The attitude though... is all wolf.
