Glad you're alright... Any incident on a bike you can walk away from is OK.

Reasons like this are why I am considering the flashing headlights.

If you have medical expenses you can usually ask for more than car wrecks. I think 4 times medical is appropriate. I had a couple of motorcycle wrecks when I was young and I'm paying the price now that I'm older so even though you feel healed there may be lingering problems.

VFR do not lend themselves to a cafe look. there is a reason they are covered with plastic. still trying to restore one of a simular vintage from a crash 5 yrs ago.

Sorry to see that damage on a beautiful machine (I have an '86 VFR), but at least you are OK! I would go for the max total + buyback as well. I'm sure Honda doesn't make the plastics anymore, but have you looked into the aftermarket?

Safeco (her insurance company) is coming to look at it next Tuesday. No medical issues, was not injured. If I can get it back reasonably I'll look in to getting it repaired and painted back to the original white.

Glad your OK. Good luck with getting what you want from the Insurance company.

Glad you're okay. Motorists can look right at you.....and then pull right out.
