One of the few movies I could watch over and over. Bill Murray is in a few of those.

I watched it 7/8ths.
Never would buy.
Sucked.
Last movie (B.M) -appropriate- was in, that I could manage was-Caddy Shack.

"When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope. Yet we know that winter is just another step in the cycle of life. But standing here among the people of Punxsutawney and basking in the warmth of their hearths and hearts, I couldn't imagine a better fate than a long and lustrous winter. "

Bill Murray....

This guy has a direct line to my funny bone.

I have worked in the bicycle industry for 28 years now. our trade show is called Interbike, which for a few years ran 4 days but most have been 3 days. For math sake we'll say that 24 of them have been 3 days. 3x24= thats 72 and 4 x 4 is 16 added together thats 88 days of my life have been on the floor of Interbike so close to 3 months of my life have been at this trade show.

I watch Ground Hog day in a different light.

What a coinkidink?! Was just passing thru Woodstock, IL where filmed and found this stuck in the 'ground'... (no not the cig butt on the right). BTW: Something about that flick bothers me. LOL I actually unearthed part of it to take the pic.

Ditto me with Vegas. 30 years of CES. 5 years of NAB. 6 - 7 days each trip. Almost 3/4 of a year . . .

let's not miss the irony of this thread..

vash 08-21-2012 11:26 AM

funny!! i just noticed the comedian in that scene..the guy in the red button up shirt. i met him in a pet store in Austin TX..i recognized him immediately, i said, "hey, i saw you in groundhog day!"

he replied, "you saw that movie?"

not clear what he meant exactly..

Baby steps.
Murray is great but Dreyfus doing the straight man part is what makes the movie.
