Basketball star Tony Farmer gets 3 years prison???

Garfield Heights High School basketball standout Tony Farmer sentenced to three years in prison | cleveland.com

Wut kind a BS is this? He didnt hit her or nothin

"Two of Farmer's former teachers also spoke, including Joni Wanderstock.
"Instead of his massive height," said Wanderstock, who taught English to the 6-foot-7-inch Farmer, "I see his massive heart."

That's a sad story but it sounds like he did something really bad and he has a propensity for violence against women. He obviously has a good side as well, based on the people speaking up for him. The judge said that she would review his sentence in 180 days, that's unusual. Sounds like he might get out early and be able to finish HS if he plays it smart and is an angel in the joint.

Not sure what that does to his scholarship outlook but if he's good enough of an athlete, he'll still wind up in the NBA. He's very young.

Looks like he will be spending time in the state penn rather than Penn State.

Woman beaters rank a little above child molesters in prison culture. Draw your own conclusions...not going to be an easy 180 days.

But hey, other than that, he's a great kid.

The true justice here is not that he will serve some time but rather that he was convicted and has a criminal record. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Before you consider this is harsh, how would you feel if it happened to your daughter?

Either way, he'll get it in the end.

Back when I taught, there was a guy whose sons went to school there & were on the football team. He happenewd to be a former Heisman (sp.?) Tophy winner. His sons were always in trouble of some kind, and he got arrested for assault and had to go to bankruptcy court at one time. Each time he would have to bail out his sons or have to go to court for something for himself, he would always take his trophy and put if on the desk/table in front of him. Made me sick.

Here's the video. Watch carefully as he drops from the invisible ***** slap of the judge. Here's the real world Tony, don't bend over to pick up the soap. Basketball? nah, give it up. change to football. You're going in as a tight end, 3 years will have you swapped to "wide receiver".
