getting rid of the utterly stupid (and juvenile) thread rating system on this board? What purpose does it serve, other than to allow a few "children" to voice their pleasure/displeasure with someone? It's 'bout as beneficial as 3rd grade "popularity contest" imo, and I for one totally disregard it until it's called to my attention within a thead. Or maybe a modification...say maybe a 5 vote threshold before the "stars" appear. Just my .02 cents worth...now I think I'll go rate my first thread :).

I think Wayne has more important things to do than customizing his bbs software so that a few users don't get their panties in a bunch. JMO :).

At least don't allow the person that started the thread to rate their own thread....A poor topic can get a one star to warn us, the person that started it gives it a 5 star and then it will average and show 3....
