Well, the Atomic Buffalo Turds were a hit! With the bacon and chorizo it was the perfect pork marriage. Keeping the pork theme going, the schnitzel sandwich "sliders" were easy to make and couldn't take a picture fast enough before some were snatched from the plate!
ABT's (made 2 platters)

Schnitzel "sliders"

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

Did somebody mention bacon?

Tonight's app. Jalora peppers, stuffed with cream cheese, scallion, and roasted red pepper wrapped in Applewood smoked bacon, and grilled for approx. 10 min.

Craig, those look wonderful and I'm a veggie! Too late to suggest anything for this week's party, but chipped beef wrapped around anything from cream cheese to smoked salmon are good and easy/fast to make.

I'm sure PorscheGAL could deep fry them as well.

It was my grandson's birthday here but I slummed & cooked hamburgers, sausages & garlic chicken on the barbie. But I did make some . . .

Everything looks great guys! I love the idea of schnitzel sliders . . .
