Cops - Why's he messing with me?

So I'm taking the 911 out for some back roads play this morning, and before I could get the oil warmed up, I passed a police cruiser exiting some apts near my hood. He "immediately" whipped it around and fell in behind me, and I'm thinking...wtf (did I do). He didn't "light me up", but was on my a$$, so I just pulled over to the side. Now I'm normally a "yes sir/no sir" type of guy to LEOs, but this time, when he pulled up beside me, and rolled down his window, I went off: "You *********, you jerk", etc. This cop was bigger than an NFL linebacker, and I couldn't believe the words that were coming out of my mouth....

Thank god he was one of my tennants and just f'ing with me. He's a good guy and we had a good laugh :)

Did that once with a buddy of mine who was in the CHP. We passed on a two lane road and he whipped around and got behind me. I stopped my truck, got and and put my hands on the hood and assumed the position. He thought it was funny until we almost got hit by a lookie-loo

I always thought it was "lookie-loo"!

Learn something new each day!

It is "looky loo" or "lookie loo." I thought it might have been looky lou but that's not even shown.

Next time I see a cop I'll try that too.

One more thing to try Bill. I challanged him to race to the next stoplight (he was just issued one of the suped up "monsters")...he just grinned and told me I'd lose :)

ps: My reply: "I know..."

Now, lets talk about the term "rubberneck"

One word, two or hyphenated?

This redneck says no hyphen is required :)

ps: Had a couple of them "gawking" at us while we were pulled over...I'm sure they thought I was getting a ticket!

I have a cop friend that did that to me once. I thought it was him but my better judgement ruled out when he hit every light he had to pull me over since I was thinking of running just for fun :D
