Wearing sunglass inside
I have prescription sunglasses I use when driving or playing outside and usually laugh at people with them on when they walk into a restaurant or inside a building. As a matter of fact, I can't seem to function with them on when inside. Why do people do it on stage performing and its cool? The Dylan u tube clip got me thinking about this. He no longer needs to be cool, at the age of 120, but many people seem to do it all the time. The Hollywood crowd to do it all the time, but no one notice. I never notice until now thinking about it. When some joe blow walks in some place, it immediately catches my attention.

Sorry I mean sunglasses. I really must pay attention at typing.

Wearing sunglasses (or hats) indoors is the signature move of the alpha-douche.

A few years ago I went to the movie theater and forgot to take off my sunglasses. My friends went in and got seats, while I bought the popcorn and soda pop. With my arms full and my sunglasses on, I entered the dark theater, and.... well, let's just say that didn't have a good outcome.
I have no idea how they do it in Hollywood. _ |
Funny thing is, I never see them trip or run into anything. When I forget to change back into my regular glasses, I have a hell of time adjusting or seeing. SImilar to seeing through limo tint driving at night. Drives me nuts.

My wife often leaves the house with her sunglasses on, it gets dark and she drives home with them on because she left her regular glasses at home. I use clip-ons. Small, cheap and if I scratch them I can get some pretty good optical quality replacements at Wally-Mart for $12.

Performers wear them on stage sometimes because there's a few hundred thousand watts of lights shining right in their face. As far as people wearing them Inside at a club or something, that's usuall because they are high on club drugs and have extremely dialated pupils. Oh, and douchiness.

I always remove mine indoors.
reminds me of a quote I heard somewhere... Do you know who wears sunglasses indoors? Blind people and ***holes. |
|
I always wear my white sunglasses indoors. Makes me look mysterious.
|
It depends what you call sunglasses... I do not think it is rude when a person wears sunglasses indoors that still allow you to see their eyes. I feel uncomfortable when attempting to have a conversation with someone when they are wearing super dark or mirrored glasses.

I do not wear sunglasses indoors but I am about to get progressive prescription glasses that may look a little shaded or colored indoors. Does that make me a douchbag? :)

Stevie Wonder wheres his inside and I don't know why.

What about wearing sunglasses at night?
|
Sometimes I'll leave mine on if I'm only planning on being indoor for a few minutes........but then, they're photochromic so there's no vision impairment.

I have prescription glasses so when i go in a place and forgot to take them off. When i take them off, i cant see. I try and remember to take tjem off when talking to folks but if not so what. I'd rather be able to see.

I used to have prescription shades and would get caught out at night or indoors without access to my regular glasses.
What are you gonna do. Dennis, you want transitions not progressives. Progressives are bi/tri foculs without the line. |
