Kershaw CS update

Knives came back. The little blade locks were replaced and the knives were sharpened back to factory edge. Elapsed time was about 2 weeks.

Irony: They state on the service form that they will not accept the knives shipped in a soft padded envelope. But they return ship the knives in a soft padded envelope...

love irony!!

the shipping address to them; it doesnt have Kershaw in it, does it? i worry about mail theft.

my benchmade came back so sharp, i dont even want to cut anything with it..i cant sharpen that well, apparently.

(i know a policeman that shipped a box of glocks to "Just Glocks" and put that in the shipping address..guns went missing, surprise!)

Met a collector tonight and for whatever his reasons, offered to dump all his knives. My initial reaction seems to be a very nice package deal but almost all are asian made. Some Kershaws in the group but China made - designer series or something. Good twenty plus auto matic's... one genuine Ital Still and a half dozen asian k.o.'s. Gerber auto and a large fixed. I'm unfamiliar with some of them, especially a few no name quick inject and retract types. Not sure how the mechanism works but looks efficient. Two of the auto's are small folders but better quality with safety's. The rest are 4 to 5 inch.

Would anyone have an approximate clue on the auto types? My concerns are the values of the china made pieces and are they 'run of the mill' or common. More knives than I care to have.
