And I feel fine. 47 F dewpoint which is about 17% Humidity!

Yep, it's not the heat, it's the humidity!

81F dewpoint 63F RH 54% But for some reason it feels more humid. actually right now there is Virga above my house, that may explain it.

100 in Billings, MT today with 5-10% humidity, if you can believe that.

90 here in the mountains.

red-beard 08-28-2012 04:51 PM

17% Humidity is pretty unusual here!

ODDJOB UNO 08-28-2012 04:59 PM

109F 16% humidity dew point 53.1% right now in phx.

red-beard 08-28-2012 05:12 PM

So, we're drier than PHX? Amazing!

masraum 08-28-2012 05:42 PM

Wow, James, you're lucky, my dew point at the house never dipped below 70° today which is not great. We only topped out at 97°.

100° and low humidity, especially if there's a slight breeze is quite comfortable. 125° and dry as a bone, breeze or no breeze, sucks. I spent 2 or 3 days in Phoenix once in the summer. Dry and REALLY hot is not any better than hot and humid, it's just a different type of hell.

I was going to say, 17%, you must be away from home. Either that or your voodoo provider cut off a chicken's head or something.

Nostril Cheese 08-28-2012 07:00 PM

68 degrees and 19% humidity with no clouds in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I was over in Beaumont working on a display today.... Didn't notice the heat or humidity because of the noxious smell....

Baz 08-28-2012 07:54 PM

Our humidity in Florida right now is about 1K.

I flew into Denver once. It was July. Clock at the bank read 100 deg. But it wasn't really uncomfortable at all. I was impressed! Then we went up into the mountains and there was some snow on the slopes! Deer and prairie dogs everywhere...place was gorgeous!

Rocky Mountain High indeed.....

red-beard 08-28-2012 08:14 PM

Stupid spambots!

LakeCleElum 08-28-2012 08:22 PM

Rode my MC from Seattle to Tyler, TX last month in 2.5 days........High's of 108......I'm gettin' too old for this crap.....Will take 4 days next time....

Tobra 08-28-2012 09:32 PM

That is actually kind of funny that it picked that particular phrase to spew out

We had about 5% humidity for most of the first half of the summer. The whole state was on fire.

masraum 08-29-2012 12:42 PM

Right now at the house, 98°, 104° heat index, 68.8° dew point and 39% relative humidity. That actually sounds fairly nice to me, especially if you're in the shade. THere's a fairly steady, decent breeze too.

red-beard 08-29-2012 01:27 PM

We're about the same. And the wind is pretty good. Upper 90's, 65 dewpint and 10 mph wind, I could live with that all summer!

porsche4life 08-29-2012 01:31 PM

Headed up to spring to work on a display. I'll let you know how hot it is inside....
