hmmm.

I saw this website a while ago and I suppose you can look at it in different ways depending on your viewpoint.

1) some bloke looking like Jesus, spouting stuff with funny clips
2) a wicked blashphemer
3) a nutcase

I don't really know what to make of this guy, what he hopes to acheieve or what he believes in.

Most of his site has some very ropey material and supposedly supplies "statements" as fact's, which I feel to be incorrect.

So some of the thing's I feel should be pointed out.

1) The name Jesus, or as Hispanics pronounce it "Hey Zeus".

2) The look, Jesus or the european (white) version of Jesus is normally depicted as a white male, blonde hiar blue eye's and light skin. A man who was born in the middle east would have this appearance ?????? yeah right !

So saying "I look like Jesus" is flawed straight off, "I look like the White stereotypical version" is more correct

Kinda like Moses, looks like Charleston Heston etc,.etc.

3) As for the Sermon's ... Woah there Horsey ! take little bit of folklore, add some inspiration, a touch of a histyorian here, and a cut and paste job from some hack and you got a fact. errr right, then 2+2 = 5 buddy !

I ain't against taking the piss outta da Church, as there's more corruption there that in any political party.

But when you attempt to take the piss outta something you know nothing about "as no-one on Earth does either!" your def. walking a tightrope and to coin a phrase "God help you"

And who's the first person you turn to when the "sheet" hit's the fan, you got it ! September the 11th footage, earthquake and crash footage, you often hear the famous word's "God help me" or "Oh God, no", "or God Help them", kinda ironic aint it !

Don't take my word on it, let me quote ya

Psalm 101:7
No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.

Jeremiah 23:16
This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord .

Exodus 34:14
Do not worship any other god, for the Lord , whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

The Boxster hath been blessed. It is now worth double its original value, for it has God's endorsment.

Get a grip, God's endorsed, a piece of scrap metal ???!

BTW, Jesus & God are different , the same, but differnet

peace

Adrian

Holy Schmolly

I didn't post this little bit of nonsense to get a Bible scholar's thesis, Reverend. Just "non-denominational" humor performed by a nutty fellow (god bless him).

thankxs but I'm not (on either score)

Just "non-denominational" humor performed by a nutty fellow (god bless him).

I understand that, but I was exercising my "off-topic" right to rant.

You did ask for an "amen", which as ya know is a strong affirmation of content and as I coul'dnt give ya that, I explained why, possibly in more depth than was needed, but if you put a point across you gotta back it up.

There's more things going on that we don't really know and what may seem to be fairly innocent on the surface is not always the case. (which I can back up in depth if ya want)

I did jump in with both feet, but no attack at yaself.

Like someone once said don't discuss Religion and politics if you don't like the replies (both are highly immotive subjects)

peace

Adrian, I thought you might be interested in this. www.hiddenmeanings.com. Let me know what you think. Buck

KJV 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
16. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that
the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy;
for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The religions that tell you not to practice meditation are trying to keep you out of Gods temple. Their reason is that they feel only they as high priests can enter the temple. Not so as we have seen. The religious people who come against meditation as they do, are actually coming against Jesus Christ. It was Jesus Christ who said in the scriptures that the Kingdom of God is within you. No one can change that. The only place that you can read the words of Jesus Christ are in the Bible and that’s what it says.

IT IS ALL WITHIN YOU
Luke 17:21 The Kingdom of God is within you

I mean how can it be any plainer. It is within you.
Yet religious people come against meditation. They refute the need to go within oneself and find God, why, because they want you to have to come to them. That sounds terrible but it was Jesus who said it.

Matthew 23:13
13. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither
go in yourselves, neither allow ye them that are entering to go in.

Note that Jesus is talking to the scribes and Pharisees which are the religious teachers of the day. The pastors of the day and he calls them hyprocrites. Why. Because they are always so concerned about people going to the temple or going to church but they block them from going into themselves where the true temple is. So why the word hyprocrite. Because they want you in church not that you may be blessed but that you may support them. You shut up the Kingdom of Heaven.

RELIGION IS TRULY THE ANTI CHRIST
It was Jesus who said the Kingdom of Heaven is within you and it was Jesus who said that it is religious people who shut that Kingdom up. They prevent people from going in because they scare people about the need for meditation by saying that there are demons and devils in the mind. In Matthew 15:14 it says that religious leaders are blind leaders of the blind. In other words they cannot see and they are showing the way to others who cannot see and they both wind up in a ditch.

By the way, I don't take religion or religious people seriously. But I think it would be funny as hell to watch that video. I can't seem to access it.

Adrian, can you give examples or go more in depth with what you meant when you typed this? Do you mean this statement in regard to religion or is it much broader than that? I'm genuinely interested.

By the way Adrian, I checked out your website a while back when you posted a link in the 944 forum. After reading your bio, I just wanted to let you know that my parents are also from Sri Lanka. I was actually born there, but moved out of the country when I was only a few weeks old. Anyway man, peace.

Made a note of it, but fairly brain dead at the moment to deal with it but will look at it

The religions that tell you not to practice meditation are trying to keep you out of Gods temple. Their reason is that they feel only they as high priests can enter the temple. Not so as we have seen. The religious people who come against meditation as they do, are actually coming against Jesus Christ. The only place that you can read the words of Jesus Christ are in the Bible and that’s what it says.

..meditation because... it can open you up spirtually to a whole other world. It says that spiritualism is an abomination pure and simple. Forget the con artists, there is a dark spirtual world out there and it is suprising how easy it is to get involved in it and how "difficult" it is to get outta it.

Leviticus 19
26 Do not practice divination or sorcery.
31 " 'Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.

I mean how can it be any plainer. It is within you.
Yet religious people come against meditation. They refute the need to go within oneself and find God, why, because they want you to have to come to them. That sounds terrible but it was Jesus who said it.

You cannot find God, albeit by meditation or through yourself. The Only way to God is through Jesus Christ.

John 14

6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

This falls into different catagories

1) Sunday Christians, who go to church 'cos it's the done thing, and cos the go, they do there bit and when they die go to heaven. (wrong!)

2) Don't go to Church but are generally good people, nice to old ppl, dont steal etc. they may believe that they will get to the gates (that is also wrong!)

The ONLY way for eternal life is to believe and accept that Jesus Christ died for your sin's.

You should go to Church to share your belief's with "other" Christians, it's also a comfortable place to praise God. There is an anlogy, that when you become a Christian you are compared to a burning ember, but without other burning ember's your flame could die and not grow.

Reason being is that just becoming a Christian can put you in a whole load of danger and precarious situations, run with dog's become a dog. The pressure to confirm is amazingly strong. If you know as a Christian something is wrong do you turn a vblind eye ? join in ?

Being A Christian just puts you on the right road, but its a dangerous and often long and crooked one, as opposed to the nice easy one followed by "the others"

Religion is just a word, just as Protestant, Catholic, etc.
I've already explained about meditation.
A true religious leader - and there are out there - have a calling from God to spread his word's and sometime to bring understanding to his words, which some may not understand, kinda like a teacher would, in fact the Apostles were the "original" 12 leaders, some lead, some follow all are equal.

The Kingdom of heaven is not inside you, The kingdom of heaven is found by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour.

Hey,
My brain cell's are zapped, or maybe my sugar level is all over the place.

I'll try and post later tonite, basically.

There are a load of things that happen in the world, which when you look deep enough have one meening on the top but as a "Christian" you gotta think twice about it.

I've only been "aware" recently of things which I gotta admit ain't from the word of God.

Do ya see all the bad in the world, that's easy.
Do ya see the good, a bit harder
What about the stuff that falls in between ??

again "beware of false prophets.." "many will come in my name...."

Sorry to be obtuse, but I'd need to sit down quietly and write it out.

Peace
