Good points about age. 62 was OLD back then.

In general, this is amusing to think about... especially picturing someone like "Silent Cal" Coolidge turning is to a real wild man during the free for all. Still waters running deep & all that.

My thanks to the thread starter.

Btw, here's something interesting about physically fit US Presidents: Who were the most physically fit presidents? | Antonio's Training

When I first saw this thread I wondered how long it would take for it to stop being tongue in cheek fun and transform into irrational and emotional knee-jerk PARF fodder.

With the exception of a couple of posts, it has remained fairly intelligent.

Long, lean, and wirery is ideal for knife fights.
Never underestimate old fogeys who still have it in them. I've met quite a few who could kick my butt in a heartbeat.

(edited because of "internet connection" in a major 4G hotspot blinking in and out regularly, requiring logging back into PP 10-20 time daily. Now with the exact wrong time highlighted in purple).

Jackson for sure. Just look at a $20 bill, he looks crazy.

My money would be on Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson.

My $ are on either Obama or GWB...all the rest are "old" or already dead :)
