Great defense won the game despite incredibly poor coaching. So many bad decisions. They punted from the USC 35!!!!

Anyway, it was great to see Stanford win. Let's hope the new coach grows a set. Soon.

Awesome! It should be fun to watch the media try to justify the loss, they had all but handed the national championship to USC at week one.

A lot of tallent in that game on both sides of the ball. The differance was tbe Stanford defence and abilility to grind out yardage and time on the ground at the end of the game.

Thought Stanford rocked it last night. Also noticed only one Cardinal player with any visible ink...refreshing!

Slight threadjack. Couple weeks ago I read a line from an article in the LA Times that noted 'SC's QB, Barkley, is only taking ONE class this semester. WTF? Isn't there some NCAA minimum requirement for number of enrolled credit hours? Or is Barkley taking some sort of 16-credit "independent study" course?

USC often buys its way around the NCAA...

I couldn't be happier about Lane Kiffen falling flat on a face, there isn't a bigger POS who deserves it more than him

Yesterday the Gators beat UT for the 8th straight year AND Lame lost....it was a beautiful thing!

And I agree - the media is in love with USC - they are way over-rated.

I'm not even a Tennessee fan but to take that job and jump ship after 1 year is BS. He is a pompous prick who always seems to have NCAA sanctions wherever he goes, not to mention the only reason he got a chance in football was his dad.

Has he had any real success? Raiders? Nope. Tennessee? Nope. USC? Nope.

Recruiting violations? Yep. Blatant lying? Yep.

Maybe he has enough credits. QB's are usually, smart guy's and good students.

Al Davis called him a liar.

I'm really surprised USC accepted him as their HC. I guess they were desperate. :rolleyes:

I looked it up. Supposedly you need at least 12 credit hours per semester. So he must be enrolled in some sort of special independent study course, as I can't recall ever seeing a regularly-offered class worth that many credits back when I attended kollege.
