project: 911 front engine dually....
 Ratty Porsche
|
Instead of ratty Porsche it should be noted old pick up truck gains some classy lines. Now all they need are some old garbage cans to fabricate fender flares.

Don't know what prompted me to even bother clicking but whoever this guy is does have some skills. Plasma boy supposably made this for the grill and measures 24 x 28 inches:

Give a man a Mig welder or in this case a pop rivet tool.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1348089269.jpg

Because you can? There are some nice welds on that thing.

I love it a lot!

If they could move the engine back 18"- 24" and lower it's mounting, they might actually create something worth driving.
There is potential here, I'm not offended by it at all. The last post in the original link, a comment by "Silverback": Quote:

Note the essential PCA sticker in the window... Haha :)
There is a weird something about it that I like... It's got that strange look to it like my 911 does. |
Is that Euro ride height?

Build threads here have convinced me that there's no such thing as a 911 that's "too far gone", but this one probably would've ended up in the crusher. Not what I'd do with the shell, but it's cool in its own way.

gonna need some rifle racks fer sure and a "jesus" on the dashboard!
and a class IV receiver hitch for the horsey trailer! |

And with all that rubber back there it will be capable of pulling like . . . 5g's it's pure ingeneering and phsicks jeenyus... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1348319015.jpg ANd so it never high centers (with that awesomely low c.g.) maybe put some castors midship on the pan. --fck Yeah boiee |

That will have some big a$$ flares on it. Also will that be considered a loooong nose? Dave |
If that shop is in Dubuque Iowa I might stop by and have a look see. Kinda cool in its own way.
Not something I would do but there seems to be a lot of rat rods driving around now days. With the cost of building hot rods now days it seems a cheep alternative. Although I guy around here has more then ten grand in his. |
these guys are SHOO-INS FOR THE EXALTED UBER SNOOTY "R-GRUPPE!"
LMFAO! |
