Any Astronomers out there ?

Hello.
I've been into Ast. since I was 9. My first scope was a 60mm Tasco Ref.
-Next was a 12" Parks Newtownian. Nice.
-4.5" Newtownian Meade.
-Then, included was a Meade 10" SCT LX (90 I think ?)
-Then a 12"Meade LX 200.

Well this is all gone and sold from my lovely X.
I have always had a passion for Astronomy. Sitting outside in the dark-sometimes day- all alone and your mind just goes. No drugs needed.
I'm looking at a -CPC Celestron 925 -used- for a very good price of $1300.

Anyone have knowledge or experience of this piece ?

I've never purchased Celestron before. I always thought they looked a bit toy like.

Your opinions on this..and company quality ?
I'd kill almost to own another PARKS Newtownian. You just cannot find any out there for sale!
Anyone know also of good classified sites?
Thanks

I'm clueless re: Celestron telescopes. I currently have a Meade (it's kind of cheap) and an Orion (pretty well built).

I've used craigslist and eBay to look for telescopes and accessories. Good luck with your search.

Our plane'arium manager at the college is one of the "Star Gazers" that replaced Jack H. when he died - I'll ask him if he knows anything about that model or has a site/forum to recommend

Thankyou.
Nieve question. Have you ever met Jack Horkheimer ?
Man, talk about concrete memories of the 80's.
Go to the club. Come home with a chickey, new or already known. Stop to get a Pizza and go downstairs and watch him with the girl.
Didn't matter if she liked it or not-He was that cool to me.

I work with stars all the time, and they look a heck of a lot better coming OUT of the makeup trailer...

I was on AstroBuySell.
Pretty good.
Some deals.
Although shipping may be cost prohibitive.
I will use Grey-Hound.
I found the Celestron just 8 miles from me though.
Have some emailing me back but I want to take a bit more time in searching for that person who is desperate for cash and has a beaut.

Thank You.
Perhaps I'll start watching again.
Sad though no Debussy. Intro and Conclusion. That was a real grabber.
