iPhone 4
After upgrading to the iPhone 5, it is time to get rid of the 4.
Mine is still in great shape, never been dropped. 16gb black model. Includes Incipio case and apple charger. $190 shipped (priority w/ tracking) to the first pelican taker. You will pay more on the open market, but thought I would pass a lot a deal here first. ETA: it's an AT&T version but it will be factory unlocked. |

Evening bump. Just trying to pass on a solid deal to a pelican
|
Thats a very fair price. I sold a beat up 32gig 3GS last week on CL for $ 130.00. Sold it in an hour.

Another bump. Thanks guys for confirming my price is fair. I'll give all you pelicans until the weekend, then I'm headed to CL

Garrett -
I am interested in this. . . I have an old iPhone 3 that's slow, doesn't talk perfectly w/my new MBPro & iPad and only runs older apps and iOS etc... I'm on AT&T. I'd upgrade to an iPhone5 but would have to pay full retail - long story - as I'm not eligible for an upgrade until next April. I've only done phone stuff at an AT&T retail store, so I'm not familiar w/how the ownership and sim cards work exactly. If that's really as easy as swapping the sim card from my phone to yours & I'm up and running, then I'm interested. Thanks, Tom |
Tom, you've got first dibs. All you need to do when you get the 4 is walk into an AT&T corporate store and ask them to activate the 4 and deactivate the 3. Then you should be all set with no changes to the contract.
Perhaps someone even more knowledgeable can chime in and confirm. |
Hi Garrett,
Would you mind if I did some research on this tomorrow AM? There's an AT&T store close to me that I could stop by and ask some questions etc... Also, you say it's in great shape re: scratches, good screen, battery still holds a good charge, no major dings etc...? Sorry, have to ask. . . : ) Thanks, Tom |
Yea I can send you some pics tomorrow. Never been dropped, zero scratches, been in a case since day 1. Screen is still perfect, my 5 battery hasn't been lasting any longer than my 4 was last week.
PM me your email and I can send you a few pictures in the morning and you can do your diligence at the AT&T store. I have submitted my request to get the phone unlocked, but you can ask t the store if that is even necessary since the phone will be staying on AT&T |
Morning Garrett,
I just stopped by the AT&T store and the guy there told me that I could bring in any AT&T branded iPhone 4 and he could swap the sim card for me for no charge. He said he had to cut down my sim card to fit. . . not exactly sure what's up w/that, but didn't seem to be a big deal. So looks like we're good to go? Thanks, Tom |
FWIW the 3 series scratched way easier than the 4 series.
My wife and I both have the 4 and after 2 years not a scratch on either one and that's without a screen protector. Mine is always in my pocket but hers is in her pocket book bouncing around with her keys and the other bajillion useless items some women feel compelled to carry. iPhone 4 uses a smaller SIM than the 3, you trim it with an xacto knife but I'm sure the ATT store has a punch. And though i've never met him I'll vouch for Garrett. He's a stand up guy. |
iPhone is packed up, will be on its way to Tom in the morning.
