I think Pass Time is a great show to watch when I'm sitting in a lobby with very little else to do. Its cool to see the different cars and drivers. It sure beats some of the other crap on TV. I'd probably not sit down to watch it at home though if I had TV, which I don't.

I do not really like most of their "car building" shows - too much fake drama in the voice over and editing.

In my opinion this would be a great time for the channel Velocity to make a move and become more mainstream with racing coverage. They have been up and coming with some great coverage, may be time to expand. Speed jumped the shark right after leaving the name Speedvision.......downhill after that.

Wonder if Dave Despain will be able to make a smooth transition from motorsports to baseball and basketball??? I'm gonna miss the "Eye Candy" clips!

Speed should go away. That might mean I don't have to watch Adam Alexander. That guy totally annoys me. So does Bob Dillner. And the NASCAR lead up and post race shows are the worst on TV. I don't think I've seen very many minutes of those, but there's always a bunch of goobers in the background waving and picking their noses. It would be easy to move that scene out of the camera's view.

So, I guess Speed wants us to see goober.

Don't worry about Despain and Varsha. They will find better homes.

Edit: I used to own some NASCAR stock (ISCA) when it played around just under 50 bucks, depending on the time of year. Cash revenue during the season always drove it up. Now it's "up" at $29 and currently selling for 25 and some change. It "spiked" a whole dollar on the news, but quickly fell back.

So guess who's desperate to shake things up? If Randy Bernard wasn't such a dunce, they could bring him over to add some more bull riding to the NASCAR spectacle. They've already got the WWF/WWE thing going on, so why not add in the cowboys?

Amen to that. With the exception of the limited amount of real racing that Speed shows, Velocity is much better for car content. Hell, they even show the WRC (like Speedvision used to).

Unfortunately for dish subscribers in portland, Velocity is only available at the highest premium level, and frankly, if it stays that way, I absolutely won't make that commitment. I'll get my racing news the way I used to, by reading it.

Another amen here.
