It all sounds good. I'm curious to see what the reviewers have to say about it

That car is so far off the hook it's insane. The envelope just keeps getting stretched.

This car exudes design perfection and all the attitude you can handle...

However...

The removal of a manual transmission...addition of paddle shifts? I guess for competition sake it was inevitable.

Porsche is all about the pure driving experience and removing the standard shift is probably the best way to disconnect the driver.

GT3 RS4.0...still my dream car.

..And get perfect shifts EVERY time.

Quicker with the semi-auto box. That's what matters.

Amazing vehicle, isn't it?

Best

I really like it except when looking at the rear of the car. IMO, the RS4.0 (my dream car) butt looks better than the new GT3 butt. I love everything else.

I'm sure in 1953 someone complained about those dang new-fangled synchros that made shifting so much simpler - no more double clutching.

Progress is inevitable, but I agree; I prefer churning my own butter too. Took me a lot of practice perfecting my heel/toe technique.

It's not an automatic but you're right on one count...any girl could probably wipe the track with you in this car vs. you in yours.

I can't believe anyone's complaining about that PDK tranny and longing to row gears and dance on the pedals. The drivetrain on the GT3 rocks. I wonder if they'd notice if I quietly swapped my GPW 964 for it?

Bingo! Speed alone isn't everything. Driving satisfaction is. Still, it's a Porsche, and a fast one, so on this board....worship is to be expected...

I guess the market is us "old fellas" and it's politely face saving.

"Darn, I was forced into getting an auto."

I've never owned an auto but as my young niece describes; it lets you concentrate on your driving.

^^^And it's much easier in city traffic, especially during rush hour.
