Never really tried Sudoku....but I can't pass over the Jumble. I've played it so many times that I'm starting to see repeats.

I'm addicted to puzzle avoidance. They make me feel stupid.

You kick butt!

Another ten years of playing, and new high score is 84,770, and the longest winning streak is 171 wins in a row.

Yeah, I'm still addicted.

Wow, cool. That's a lot of numbers!

I need to get a book. Maybe next week when I'm in town, I'll stop by a B&N.

I saw a page about the Phistomefel ring the other day. I thought it was interesting. I was curious, so looked to see what sort of techniques are out there for helping to solve them. THere are a bunch, and some seem really complex, more so than needed.

I have found that even with expert sudoku puzzles, penciling in numbers that have only two options in a 3x3 will get you 90% there. And if there are two numbers that are penciled into the same two cells of the 3x3 cube, I consider those two cells 'locked' as no other number can go into either of those two cells.

There are more advanced techniques folks use, but these work well for me.

I like playing - it is the only game I play on a tablet. I like puzzles too. I will admit I got burned out on both during the pandemic lockdown.

Jumble! I'm an addict too. My rule, no pens or pencils allowed. Helps exercise my feeble memory

^^^ I've never tried it without a pen....would be a challenge (for me) for the phrase. :)

I've found that if I don't spot the word within a few seconds....it's going to be a tough one.
It's a great tool for brushing up on spelling.
