Garage Make Over

Well it took me about 3 months working at night but I finally got my garage make over done! All I'm missing are the new cabinets and A/C :D Few photos:

Installed a rack on the wall for the spare tires/ painted all the walls and sealing!

I had to remove all the old paint from the surface, I try many products but at the end did it all by hand, after that degresser/ muriatic acid/ mix of water and baking soda/ degresser.

Nice! I did a similar overhaul earlier this year. Two 4' wide wall cabinets, below them a formica countertop/workbench ($25!) with florescent lights mounted under the wall cabinets to light the work surface, some generic steel drawers with sliders mounted under the workbench, pegboard for wrenches and other tools, new shelving on each side, paint on the walls and ceilings, rack for my winter tires, 4x 8' florescent lights, lots of wall track and associated hangars for kid stuff. Phase two is adding a third car garage, right now the concrete is done and ready for framing. Also need to do floors both sides. Because the new garage is deeper I'll be moving the kid and yard stuff over there, leaving the two car side for tools and a beer fridge.:)

Looks good. I really need to do something similar. If I could just get all the non-garage stuff out of the garage I would be better off.

Nice work, Juan! I have a garage make-over in my future.

Juan, what floor product did you use?

Those color flakes are the sameas the Quickcrete water-based I used.
Slippery when wet, and chipping(cleaning and possibly moisture under slab).

Looks nice! I have been dying to do mine but it just hasn't bubbled up on my honeydoo list yet. (In fact, it's not really on the honeydoo list, hence the delay.)

I shudder at the prospect of temporarily moving-out the 10 years worth of crap piled-up in there. Where have you guys put all your stuff while the work is being done - back yard? Storage unit? Living room?
