Anyone watching "Homeland"?

Its on Showtime. I heard a lot of buzz and downloaded Season 1 to my iPad for the trip to NYC for turkey day to visit my daughter. I liked it so much, I ordered Showtime from my cable company to watch Season 2. Claire Danes is great and her expressions and eye movement when she speaks are what sell it for me. Wifey likes it as well.

Great show. Just finished watching this weeks episode.
Loved the ending.

For the Princess Bride fans, Saul also played Inigo Montoya.

Totally hooked on it. She has crazy eyes and makes me nervous, especially in season 1. I'm usually on the edge of my seat throughout the show.

Mandy is a fantastic actor, the whole cast does a wonderful job.

Been watching all along. Good acting, especially when two of the main characters are British and you wouldn't have a clue.

It's an excellent show. The plot lines are a little far fetched, but it's well done and really captures the politics and BS of working at the Agency better than any similar show before.

It's good to know the show is so good. I just had to replicate the look of the show's open for a Fox Sports piece and thought "what the hell is thing about???" If the show is available via Amazon or Netfilx I'll give it a try after the wife and I are through with Breaking Bad.

I've had season 01 in my Netflix queue for some time now, but I think there's been a big wait since its success at the emmys.
In the meantime, I've been cycling through season's 1-6 of 24 (starting watching the show at season 7)
If I'm not mistaken, a couple of producers from that show created Homeland.

Brilliant. Don't know what side Brodie really is on.

Now that makes a lot of sense to me . I've watched it from the beginning, and the same tension build fast pace as 24. No matter what ever logistical improbabilities get in the way. Got to get across the state? No problem; there in 10 minutes !

Muslim reporter from a local TV station to exclusively announce Brody's VP candidacy for the nation ? Sure... I'll buy that

Still have to watch the weekly train wrecks unfold

I'm in the Biz, and this is one of the few shows that I actually watch. Mandy was on one of my shows Criminal Minds for a season or two. He is a flake.

Didn't he just stop showing up on set? He then surfaced on Letterman unannounced, singing broadway tunes.

Yep, he just didn't show up one day. Disney/ABC thought about suing him for breach of contract, and decided to just let it go. They didn't want the press involved. He also had to have his lines written out on big white boards for him to read. Don't know about the Broadway tunes.

Great show... a guy here at work enticed me to watch. I am not sure where it's going, who's on who's side, a lot like 24. Very good acting IMO.

I used to watch that show quite a bit, but it kept keeping me up at night. Was a big fan if the brunette that was in the first few seasons. The blonde is quite easy on the eyes as well..

I'm about halfway through season II now and enjoying every minute. Season II doesn't have as much nudity but I watch it anyway.
Through season I I thought Claire Danes was a real cutie, but she's wearing on me. Her features are too big for her face - big eyes, big nose, big mouth. I'm starting to cringe when she does that eye roll thing of hers.
I'm thinking of breaking up with her and take up fantasizing about Brodies's wife. Yes, she's a slut but she's a cute slut with a nice rack. Do you think she's had her lip enhanced?
Big surprise to me was that in the beginning I though Brodie's daughter was going to just be some furniture to fill out the room but she's become a serious part of the story line.
Can't wait for season III.

I think Claire Danes is doing an amazing job in this role. I'm enjoying the depth of the writing and the complex character/issue interactions. Opie seems mis-cast to me, but overall, I'd rate it a 7 out of 10. Pretty good, and definitely entertaining.
