Need a new shaving brush

I've been shaving with a brush and mug for longer than...
Once I get used to a brush I hate to change but the old brush is starting to lose the hairs so time to find a new one. Most kits are cute but the quality stinks and some brushes feel like a scrub brush. Badger seems the way to go but that's all I know. Suggestions on what type of brush and where would be greatly appreciated. Been looking at stuff like this:

My brush is badger and its old....was my grandfathers, still in great shape! Honestly I bought a cheapy ($35.00 ish) Wilkinson sword one for my travel kit and really its not too bad. Good luck!!! I am having a hard time finding a good quality (yet affordable) mug of shaving soap.

I buy badger, they seem to last me about 20 years each.

Question.....how much better can the $140.00 brush be than the $65.00 brush??? Now fellas.......is there anyone out there that shaves with a straight razor? My father used to, me I am nowhere brave enough or patient enough!!

Badgers? We don't need no stinking badgers! I use Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad soap and a badger brush I bought about ten years ago at a shop in Singapore. Didn't pay much for it really, about $40 IIRC but it works great. The wife really likes the smell of the Nomad soap. I used their Sandalwood soap and shaving soap for years, but she prefers this one.

I squirt some crap out of a can on my hand, and I put it on my face. Then I shave with a razor I got in a 30 pack at Costco.

A brush?

Try Bullgoose shaving supplies, they usually have good prices and Phil, the owner is a good guy. BTW, I sometimes use a straight razor. Most of the time I use a double edge safety razor in a Merkur 47D. I have 3 brushes, all badger. There are different grades of badger fur, You don't have to pay more than $50 for a decent brush. I have one that I spent over $100 for and it's really nice and super soft.
