i just finished reading MEAT EATER, by steven Rinella. the book is about his exploits growing up as a subsistence eater..he killed everything he ate.


great book..some funny sections where you can laugh out loud. great fodder for the next time someone questions your humanity and labels you a killer.

his wife's (non hunter) reaction and response to the first time she witnessed a deer get killed is poetic and said in a way that is much better than i could ever craft it..i will save it for the next debate.
