90+ psi is not even normal on my cummins truck let alone a ford 1/2ton. I have never seen an E-load that says anything 80psi max on the side. Am I mistaken?

E-loads have a max weight (load) rated at 80 psi.....that's the definition of E load

Two things:

1) Even though their expressed rating is at 80 psi doesn't mean they can't handle more pressure (or load)

2) The 80psi rating is the COLD pressure, and they're expected to run 5-8 psi higher when warm.

So if Vash took the pressure after driving, it very well could have read 90. You'd have to use a pretty high quality gauge to be accurate at near 90 pounds too.... not a stupid little stick pen gauge.

Does not matter what kind nor size of truck we are talking about. Its the ply rating of the tires that determines what PSI is going to be used.

If you are running real 10 ply truck tires on the puppy, this pressure is normal.
