Mercedes kompressor

I'm looking to buy a small commuter car and have been looking at BMW e46s, but ran across a 2002 C230 coupe with the kompressor engine. I know the normal engines will easily go 200k+, but what about these supercharged versions? Any pitfalls with this model?

A close friend of mine (female) had one in high school and I spent a lot of time in it. I find the E46 to be a much better looking car both in and out

The c230 was one of the least attractive cars MB ever made. I would take an E46 over it by a mile.

Yes, I agree the e46 is better looking, but I have been looking for 2 months and cannot find one with less than @130k miles on it with most being well north of 150k. The c230 I found only has 90k on it which is a significant buying point.( coupe, not sedan )

Just bought one for wife to drive. 34mpg, plenty of power, great ride (for a small car).
Just watch out for leaking cam sensor issue and rust.

I have the C240 from that year and it has been a tank. The engines are different but the rest is the same. They eat lightbulbs more that gasoline. I would buy another one in a second
