NASA Internship - San Jose - need housing
 

One of my former neighbor's son will be interning with NASA in San Jose.

He will need someplace to live from February to July, 2013. He's a terribly good kid (about 24), Spanish and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Anyone have ideas fora place for him to live?

Moffett I take it? Car or no car? Palo Alto has a lot of nice areas but, is going to be more expensive. Lots of choices, Mountainview, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale of course. There are some newer housing complexes along the Milipitas/San Jose border that are pretty nice and still only about 8 miles away and 237 would be a good route. Probably cheaper.

I guess I should ask if he's looking for a sponser or will he rent himself?

I think he'd prefer to have a short term room mate situation. I expect he will buy a car. He learned to drive in the US. He lived here in Houston until 2008.
