I have seen two posts from Playa76911s moved to other forums in the last few days. His second post had technical merit.

Who is the miscreant that keeps turning him in?

How many posts remain here that offer little to no technical merit? Seriously. Lots of them. Guys venting about parking space encroachment, coffee gatherings, etc.

Give him a break. I say boo to the moderator that makes a snap decision and purges his posts because playa is a bit different and one or a few persons do not like his style.

Posted this in the 911 technical forum like eight seconds ago.

Pickin' up what you are puttin' down.

I imagine threads with the word "playa" in the title get automatically moved, no moderator necessary. You'll notice the same thing when certain threads have 'political' keywords in the title.

Complaining or not complaining about Playa is a waste of time, like worrying about the amount of stars on things.

At least I did not get sent to the island. :-)

Playa is pretty obviously the alter ego of someone who posts regularly under his "real" screen name. He should be completely ignored.

He brings a little lightheartedness on this forum and he's harmless.

The uptight, humorless, uberconservative perspective, wherein even internet bulletin boards elicit dour proclamations to attempt to dictate other's behavior:

Playa reminds me of who I was before I realized how things actually were in life.... He reminds me to never fall into that void ever again... Truth be told, we have all probably been there...

I like the guy especially since his 917 thread.

First post last sentence tells a person he has a profound sense of humor that has little to do with him butchering the language.
