A question about Antarctica
It hasn't rained their in over two million years. So why not?
|
Too cold. That is just a guess though.
|
How often does it rain in your deepfreezer?

Cold is the obvious answer but it must get over 0 degrees Celsius at times. |
never had any water droplets condens in yer fridge?
Maybe not rain rain, but most fridges do have condensation.. and what is rain? condensation falling out of the sky.. You can't get that if it freezes. |

The McMurdo Dry Valleys are on the list of the world's most desertified regions - if that is a decent answer.
|
I think it is too dry. That sounds funny to read.
|
This is right outside McMurdo on a balmy 30 degree day. That's our runway the young lad is fixing to cross. What an amazing place.
