I'm a prude. I never use that term. I know lately it's become generally more acceptable, but to me it's like wearing a ball cap in a restaurant - lacks class. Not impressed by showing an image of a player committing a dangerous infraction of the rules either. What message is that supposed to convey?

I have a lot of friends in Michigan and will root for them Saturday.

Also - Ohio State fans are some of the most rude in the country. Sorry - nothing personal. It's a well known fact. Now they have a great coach Urban Meyer, whose last 2 years in Gainesville were nothing short of a fiasco. I'm glad he was able to get his health back so quickly...and wish him and his team well. Not all Gators hate Coach Meyer. But it is what it is....he will mostly be remembered for how he handled the team his last two years.

A little known fact - our starting QB Jeff Driskel, was recruited by Coach Meyer. He is a very talented coach.

Football tonight: TCU at Texas 7:30pm eastern on ESPN.

Baz, I agree, Urban is a heck of a coach and I wish him nothing but good.....it just sucks that all his talent is going to Ohio State. Growing up in Michigan that's the one team I never liked.....what stinks is they always seem to have good teams and are competitive in most sports.

tOSU should have lost last week to the Badgers. Wisconsin made the mistake of relying on Montee Ball to go up and over when they should have ran around the Buckeye D-line.

But that's how the game is played....and that's what makes it still the best sport to enjoy every year when fall rolls around.

gator's dropped miami to play no hope minor teams

why can't the SEC play real out of conference teams
heck they can't even play real threats in their other division
but they all love to load up with teams like bowling green and jax state or towson


I can't unstand why TV who pays big bucks allows the junk games

it is not sportsmanship to play weak sisters

Your ridiculous post is almost not worthy of response NOTA - but 'for the record' - I will....

As far as the SEC - they have won the national championship for the last 6 years in a row. If Miami wants to play in the top conference...they need to lobby to get into one. Currently the SEC sets the bar.

Regarding strength of schedule.....don't take my word for it....check out the data:

Currently...Miami is ranked #54...the Gators are ranked #4.

This is how you assess a team's strength of schedule. Not cherry picking a few games from their season....which is only done by an ignorant person - no offense.

Why is Miami forgoing it's post season eligibility - for a second year in a row?
