That is scary. Cool as heck but scary.

My AV blocks the brightcove video player, and probably for good reason.

Me thinks that cat knew she was in charge and was using the truck as a elevated vantage point looking for something to eat. She wasn't scared of anything or anybody probable because she interacts with all the tourist. Nontheless, very cool up close and personal to a wild Cheetah

No... Walt Disney rating

how that cat behaved surprised me. how the tourist behaved didnt.

Very cool video. I thought the tourists behaved quite well - they stayed still, kept what distance they could, made no sudden movements, and didn't threaten it in any way.

What I found interesting was the cell phone videographer that did not suffer from VVS. Rare these days.

I wonder if that cat would have appreciated a scratching about the neck, cats like that.

Definite "Pucker Factor" initially.

The gray hat on the guy on the left has a Speedware Motorsports emblem on it. They are one of our local shops. Small world.

The only mistake I see that guy doing was that he kept on taking picutures/recording. I would have quietly and slowly replaced that camera with something that I could use to defend myself just in case the cheetah changed his mood. Even holding a stick by my side would have been a good idea.

He did remain calm, which was good -- but I am not sure if that was because he knew to stay calm, or if he was shocked by the cat.

Amazingly beautiful animal!

Who goes on an African safari trip and uses an iPhone/cellphone to take pictures? Who thinks its a good idea to keep raising your hands up and down while 5 feet away from a wild cheetah that is perched at the same elevation as yor neck and head. Darwin took pity on that guy and let him off without even a lesson. Good luck next time since ole Darwin has a plan for you.

Amazing creature

That is why I think the cat acted so calmly. Her hair wasn't raised up on her back, she didn't look aggressive (although if you try to pet her you may find out different), and she was so used to all the safari vehicles that she just jumped up on one to have a look around.
