Small world. I have the exact bike in silver. Old by any measure but it's fun to pass guys on much newer/nicer rigs.

i had a silver 855. it was actually a very good bike..fit me well. perfectly actually.

i cracked the frame at a pivot point and the divorce was finalized between me and Proflex.

Nota..how did you mount a kid seat back there? i dont remember lugs for luggage.

I cracked an early Trek full suspension bike. Heavy thing but it was fun going downhill.

Every spring I get the itch for a new bike, then I see the prices. It's hard for me to pay more for a mtb than I did for my Ducati. :( I like to look though.

I have five bikes, these are two of them. The pink one is a full-suspension Giant that I've done (if I recall correctly) EIGHT twenty-four hour solo races on with zero mechanicals. All on the same wheel set and I've never needed to have the wheels trued. Expensive wheels (spinergy), but worth every penny. You're diggin' the pink -right? ;)

The other bike is the road bike. Probably my least favorite bike, but it is a fast little stinker. Speciallized Allez Pro with mostly Dura-Ace, and yet another Spinergy wheelset. Picture is riding it in Denali park dirt road early in the spring before the park is open.

After watching the video I feel like my Dura-Ace 7900 group is obsolete :)

Actually I'm so amazed by the shifting with current brifters compared to the old downtube mounted shifters that I can't imagine electric shifting being worth it.

I wonder when the new stuff is going to be available? Next year maybe? Not that I'm ready to upgrade quite yet.
