If we were a culture of any substance we would declare a national holiday in Dave Brubeck's honor.

Sad to hear, wife and I saw him three times in the last 7 years... Most recently at Harvard, where we were seated on the stage with him. Awesome experience. RIP.

Sad to see.... RIP Dave...

My wife and I listened to several of our Brubeck CD's this evening, and raised a toast or two. It made some very pleasant dinner music as well.
