damn. i have about $4K worth of those stools in my backyard, right now! anyone want one for half of their list price? it is good wood, too, osage orange. i can sand and seal the top, to keep the wood looking its prettiest... PM me if you are interested.

I'm a designer/ furniture maker and that kind of price gouging is embarrassing. 18" of railroad tie with some shellac on it for $750 (retail price) on "sale" for $550????. Tard

That makes me want to go punch the guy in the face because words would fall short of making a proper point.

I had a shop neighbor who made stuff like this and charged upwards of $200 for this same sort of thing and $2500 rough coffee tables.
I thought that was a bit high.....
I have a new shop neighbor now. I guess $200 for a peice of firewood didn't work out as a business plan. Nice guy though.
